Team News
Tottenham
The main news for Tottenham is that Aaron Lennon has declared himself
fit and available to play at the weekend. It will be interesting to see
whether he is fit enough to return to the starting lineup or only to the
bench. Harry Redknapp selected a strong team for the FA Cup tie against Bolton
in midweek, so it will be interesting to see if he is able to pick the
likes of Adebayor and van der Vaart who have struggled with injuries in
recent weeks. William Gallas, Younes Kaboul and Brad Friedel should be amongst those reinstated to the starting lineup.
probable lineups : Freidel, Assou-Ekotto, Kaboul, Gallas, Walker, Bale, Parker, Modric, Kranjcar, Vaart, Adebayor. (4-4-1-1).

Swansea
Brendan Rodgers will have to make at least 1 enforced change this week
,with Steven Caulker unable to face the club he is on loan at Swansea
from. Garry Monk will likely replace him. Nathan Dyer returns from suspension and could come straight back into the starting XI in place of Wayne Routledge. Gylfi Sigurdsson will continue in his advanced midfielder role, where he
has been so successful away from home, scoring 5 goals in 5
appearances.
probable Lineups : Vorm, Rangel, Monk, Williams, Taylor, Britton, Allen, Dyer, Sigurdsson, Sinclair, Graham. (4-2-3-1).

Prediction
Tottenham will be hopeful that the FA Cup win over Bolton in midweek
will spark their season back into life after a poor run in the Premier
League. The North London side have failed to win in their last 5 and
have been usurped in the race for 3rd place by rivals Arsenal. Chelsea
are just 5 points behind them and they will have to stop the rot sooner
rather than later if they are to have any chance of making it into the
Champions League, which, given their great start to the season, is
thought of as a minimum requirement for many fans.
Swansea, meanwhile, ended a run of 3 consecutive wins with defeat at
home to Everton last time out. Their last away game was a hugely
impressive 3-0 win at Fulham, and they will hope for a repeat
performance on their latest return to the capital. They have won 4 of
their last 6 away games in the league, and will undoubtedly provide a
tough game for Tottenham.
With the season nearing its end, Tottenham still have plenty to do if
they want to secure Champions League football for next season, while
Swansea have almost achieved their main aim for the season and all but
consolidated their place in the division for another year. They will,
however, not be happy to just let the season peter out, and will push
for 3 points again. Spurs, though, looked very good against Bolton in
the week, and but for the heorics of Adam Bogdan in the Bolton goal,
would have won the game by even more. They will want, and possibly
expect, to dominate and pick up their first 3 points in the league since
February 11th.
Tottenham 3 - 1 Swansea
