Atlético's hopes of Champions League football next season took another
blow as they slipped to another costly away defeat at Zaragoza last
weekend. There is at least some good news for Diego Simeone as Gabi and Juanfran
return from suspension, whilst Diego made his comeback from injury as a
substitute against Zaragoza and should feature again here. The hardest decision for Simeone will again be whether to go for the
goalscoring threat of Salvio or the more creative talents of Arda Turan
on the right.

Getafe
Getafe have shot into the top half of the table after taking 10 points
from their last four games, culminating in last weekend's 3-1 win over
Valencia. Indeed, should Luis Garcia's men win again at the Vicente Calderón, they
will overtake Atleti to move into second place in the mini-table of
Madrid sides. However, they will have to do without midfielders Pedro Ríos and Míchel,
whilst Pedro León remains unlikely to start on his return from another
injury. Abdel Barrada should return though having missed the last two games.

Prediction
Atleti's form on the road remains poor but at home they are a different
side and have won five of their seven games at the Calderón since
Simeone took charge.
Getafe, however, are difficult to beat on their travels having only lost once in their last seven away games.
Home advantage may prove vital though, in one of Madrid's forgotten
derbies as Atleti look to remain on the coattails of those in the
Champions League places.
