Betis
Betis slippped to their third consecutive defeat as they were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Rayo Vallecano on Saturday. Manager Pepe Mel faces a big four days as he may be replaced should his
side fail to win against both Espanyol, and then Racing Santander on
Sunday. Mel is still short of options in defence due to the continued absence of
Mario and Ustaritz, but elsewhere he may look to change things round
with Jonathan Pereira and Jose Cañas pushing for a recall to the
starting XI.
Probable Lineups:
Fabricio, Nelson, Dorado, Paulao, Nacho, Benat, Canas, Montero, Sevilla, Pereira, Castro.

Espanyol
Espanyol continued their free-scoring form on Monday night as they
followed up the 5-1 hammering of Rayo Vallecano with another impressive
display to see of Racing Santander 3-1. Joan Verdú lead the Catalans revival from 1-0 down in that game with the
equaliser, but he misses out on the trip to Seville after picking up
his fifth booking of the season. Sergio Garcia is also out after having to come off with a hamstring
injury against Racing so Vladimir Weiss will reclaim his place in the
starting XI.
Probable Lineups
Casilla, Lopez, Amat, Moreno, Didac, Forlin, Gomez, Weiss, Romaric, Cautinho, Alvaro.

Prediction
Betis' recent problems have come at the back as they have conceded three
goals in each of their previous three games and they could be
vulnerable to Espanyol's pace and movement up front. However, Mauricio Pochettino's side aren't the most defensively solid
side either having failed to keep a clean sheet in their last seven
games. Therefore, hopefully an entertaining end-to-end encounter is in store with a draw the most likely outcome.
Betis 2 - 2 Espanyol
