Team News
Swansea
Steven Caulker will return to the side and replace Garry Monk having been ineligible to face Tottenham last time out. Elsewhere changes, as usual for Swansea, are likely to be kept to a minimum. The likes of Luke Moore and Nathan Dyer will hope to start ahead of
Graham and Routledge respectively, with the latter more likely to return
to the side after missing the Spurs match despite returning from
suspension.
probable lineups : Vorm, Taylor, Williams, Caulker, Rangel, Allen, Britton, Sinclair, Sigurdsson, Dyer, Graham. (4-2-3-1).
Newcastle
Fabricio Coloccini is likely to remain sidelined with a hamstring injury, with James Perch continuing to deputise in his place. Alan Pardew has opted for a fairly fluid front three in recent games,
with Ben Arfa and Ba in support of Papiss Demba Cisse, who has been an
instant hit in the North-East. Danny Guthrie picked up a calf injury against Liverpool and is a doubt,
with Taylor available to step in if needed, assuming Jonas Gutierrez
continues at left-back.
probable lineups : Krul, Simpson, Williamson, Perch, Gutierrez, Cabaye, Tiote, Taylor, Arfa, Cisse, Ba. (4-3-3).

Swansea managed to hold Newcastle to a 0-0 draw at St. James' Park
earlier in the season and are one of only 3 sides, along with Arsenal
and Chelsea, to have prevented Newcastle from scoring at home.
These two teams completed excellent business in bringing in the likes of
Sigurdsson and Cisse respectively in January. The former notched again
from midfield at Spurs but is yet to score at the The Liberty Stadium
having netted 6 times away from home.
Despite Newcastle's excellent position in the table Swansea will fancy
their chances as the Magpies have picked up 6 of their 8 defeats on the
road this season, while Rodgers' side have lost just 3 home games.
Swansea 1 - 1 Newcastle
