Team News
Atletico Madrid
Atletico Madrid won for only the third time on the road this season at
Rayo Vallecano last weekend to move within six points of the fourth
placed Malaga.
Radamel Falcao was again the marksman for Atleti and the Colombian 22 league goals now account for 50% of their total tally.
Diego Simeone may make a few changes after the Europa League semi-final
against Valencia but won't overly rotate with Champions League football
for next season still the priority.
Probable lineups : Courtois, Luis, Dominguez, Miranda, Juanfran, Gabi, Suarez, Turan, Diego, Adrian, Falcao. (4-2-3-1).
Espanyol
Espanyol got back to winning ways in style last weekend with a 4-0 thrashing of Valencia. However, Mauricio Pochettino may still make a few changes as Philippe Coutinho and Juan Forlin return from suspension.
Christian Gomez scored his first goal for the senior team to put them on
their way, but the return of Sergio Garcia was the key as he provided
two fine passes for the first and third goals.
Probable lineups : Alvarez, Lopez, Rodriguez, Moreno, Didac, Baena, Gomez, Garcia, Verdu, Coutinho, Uche. (4-2-3-1).

Atletico's away form is what has kept them below the top four all
season, but at the Calderón they remain a force to be reckoned with and
are unbeaten against sides outside the top two at home in 2012.
Espanyol by contrast haven't won any of their last seven games away from home.
Fatigue after European games hasn't really been a factor for Atleti when
playing in Madrid and another win here would put them right back in the
race for a Champions League place.
Atletico Madrid 2 - 1 Espanyol
