Phil Bardsley and Sebastian Larsson should both return to the line-up
having missed the weekend's clash through illness, with the former
likely to replace the injured John O'Shea at right-back.
Sessegnon made a goalscoring return from suspension and will keep his
place while captain Lee Cattermole could make his comeback from a
4-match ban, though Colback and Vaughan both impressed in his absence. The likes of Kyrgiakos and Bridge will continue to deputise at the back with Brown and Richardson sidelined.
probable lineups : Mignolet, Bridge, Kyrgiakos, Turner, Bradsley, McClean, Cattermole, Vaughan, Larsson, Sessegnon, Bendtner. (4-4-1-1).

Everton
Young midfielders Rodwell and Coleman will struggle to recover from
injuries to start on Tuesday night, but could make the bench at The
Stadium of Light. Steven Pienaar is cup-tied, meaning Royston Drenthe could come in and
represent the only change from an impressive 2-0 victory away at Swansea
at the weekend.
Fellaini could, however, return to the starting line-up in place of
Neville to partner Darron Gibson, who made his recovery from injury last
time out. Neville would hope to revert to right-back in place of
Hibbert if that were the case.
probable lineups : Howard, Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Osman, Fellaini, Gibson, Drenthe, Cahill, Jelavic. (4-4-1-1).

Prediction
The game at Goodison Park between these two sides was a full-blooded
affair, with Sunderland starting well to take the lead before tiring in
the second half. You can expect the same commitment on Tuesday with a
trip to Wembley at stake.
If Everton could pick up successive away wins with a victory, they know
that they would face Liverpool in the semi-final in what would be a
mouth watering derby, but winning at Sunderland is a tough task for any
side.
The last three matches at The Stadium of Light between these two sides
have all ended in draws, with another close encounter surely in the
offing this could go right down to the wire, with extra time and
penalties a possibility.
Sunderland 1 - 1 Everton
