Real Sociedad
Real Sociedad were a little unlucky as Iñigo Martínez's own-goal handed
Getafe a 1-0 win at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Saturday. Antoine Griezmann picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in
Madrid so he will miss out through suspension for the visit of Levante. Imanol Agirretxe should return to the starting XI after only coming on
as a late substitute against Getafe. The striker has scored three goals
in Sociedad's last two home games. Markel Bergara had to be replaced after just 16 minutes last time out and is extremely doubtful for this one.
Levante
Levante remarkably moved back into the top four thanks to a last-gasp Xavi Torres winner against Villarreal on Sunday. Valdo was booked in that match and is therefore suspended so Rubén
Suárez, whose brilliant free-kick helped set-up the goal against the
Yellow Submarine, is expected to be given a rare start. Juanlu is nearing his return from a broken fibula, but is still a couple of weeks away from being match-fit.Probable Lineups
Real Sociedad (4-2-3-1) : Bravo, Cadamuro, Martinez, Gonzales, Estrada, Aranburu, lllarramendi, Vela, Zurutuza, Prieto, Agirretxe.
Levante (4-2-3-1) : Munua, Juanfran, Cabral, Ballesteros, Venta, Torres, Iborra, Barkero, Ghezzal, Suarez, Kone.
Prediction
Sociedad's record at home has been very impressive of late; the Basque
side winning their last four encounters at Anoeta and scoring 11 goals
in the process. Levante's form has also picked up of late - they have won three of their
last four, but they have still lost seven of their last eight games on
the road. Therefore, it may be another evening in which occupation of fourth place
is handed over as Sociedad should bounce back to claim another home
win.
Real Sociedad 3 -
1 Levante
