Queens Park Rangers
The likes of Fitz Hall and Adel Taarabt are both doubtful but should be fit to feature on Wednesday. Zamora and Cisse will continue to work on their partnership up front,
while fellow new signing Diakite should keep his place in midfield. Traore is likely to keep his place ahead of Taiwo at left-back, with
Onuoha keeping out Young on the right and Hill partnering Ferdinand.
Liverpool
Martin Kelly and Luis Suarez both picked up knocks against Stoke at the
weekend, so Dalglish will hope to have the likes of Johnson and Bellamy
back available. Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson were both rested for the FA Cup clash
and the former could return if Dalglish reverts to one up front, which
would probably mean dropping Carroll. If Bellamy is available, Downing could line-up on the right once again
while Carragher will continue to deputise for the injured Daniel Agger
at the back.
Match Facts
- Queens Park Rangers have failed to win their last 6 matches in Premier League.
Prediction
QPR will feel very aggrieved not to have been awarded an opening goal at
Bolton last time out but the fact of the matter is that Mark Hughes'
side are on the longest winless run in the league, going 6 games without
a victory. They have slipped into the bottom three and have a tough run in, so will
see their home form as vital if they are to stay in the Premier League.
Liverpool have lost 4 of their last 5 away games in the league so the
hosts will be confident. Liverpool won the reverse fixture at Anfield 1-0 but QPR have added
quality to their attack since then and will be a more dangerous
proposition at home, as well as being more fresh after Liverpool faced
Stoke at the weekend.
prediction score :
Queens Park Ranger 1 - 1 Liverpool
