Togolese striker insists news is positive after visiting the Bolton Wanderers midfielder in hospital on Tuesday and asks for people to continue praying for the 23-year-old
Tottenham's Emmanuel Adebayor says Fabrice Muamba's health is continuing to improve after visiting the Bolton Wanderers midfielder at the London Chest Hospital on Tuesday. The Spurs striker is just one of several colleagues to have visited Muamba since being rushed to hospital on Saturday after collapsing on the pitch during Bolton's FA Cup quarter-final at White Hart Lane.
Adebayor told Sky Sports News: "He's in good form and he's well.
"He's much better, he can recognise people and he can talk.
"We just have to keep praying for him. Now we have to see how he goes in the next couple of days."
"He's a strong guy. I think he has been through a lot of things during the last two days but he is back to normal, he's trying to talk normal and he's acting normal which is very important."
Owen Coyle revealed earlier on Tuesday that he had held a short discussion with his player as Muamba continues to recover from his cardiac arrest.
