After a 1-1 draw at Cologne last weekend, Bremen are seventh and need
further results to qualify for Europe again. With many clubs in
contention, Werder have to become more consistent at home.
Gladbach have struggled lately and Schalke has taken the third spot from
them. They need to find their form again now to secure the fourth spot
at the end of the season, which would allow them to play in the
Champions League play-offs.
Expect Bremen to try to control the game and Gladbach to press with two banks of four to set up their dangerous counter-attacks.
