Team News

Newcastle

Both Cheik Tiote and Yohan Cabaye were subbed off with knocks at Swansea, with the former more likely to miss out come Monday. If Tiote cannot feature Newcastle will be down to the bare bones, with Guthrie also out, so Ryan Taylor could start in midfield. Alan Pardew has the league's in form man right now in Papiss Demba Cisse, who will continue to lead the line supported by Ba and Ben Arfa.
probable lineups : Krul, Santon, Perch, Williamson, Simpson, Gutiérrez, Cabaye, Taylor, Ba, Cisse, Arfa. (4-3-3).
Bolton

Kevin Davies will hope to start as Owen Coyle is likely to shuffle his side and formation after a poor performance last time out. Darren Pratley made an unexpected return against Fulham but was ineffective and could be dropped, with Eagles making an impact from the bench.
probable lineups : Bogdan, Ricketts, Ream, Wheater, Alonso, Miyaichi, Davies, Reo-Coker, Eagles, Ngog, Davies. (4-4-2).

Prediction
Bolton's impressive run came to an abrupt end last time out and they are still very much in a dog fight so a trip to Newcastle is untimely.

Pardew's side have all but ensured Europa League action for next season but are only 3 points of Tottenham in third and wont be giving up incredible aspirations of Champions League football in a remarkable season.

Games between these two sides have been even of late, though Newcastle won 2-0 earlier in the season and will be strong favourites again.
Newcastle   2 - 0  Bolton
