Team News
Liverpool

Liverpool return to Anfield after an extremely impressive 3-0 win at Carrow Road at the weekend, where Luis Suarez starred. The Uruguayan should start again, while Andy Carroll could come back into the lineup.

Kenny Dalglish has been rotating his squad lately, with his priority undoubtedly the upcoming FA Cup Final against Chelsea. Spearing, Henderson and Skrtel could all return to the lineup, with the likes of Bellamy and Shelvey likely to drop out.

Charlie Adam is going to miss the rest of the season, so it will be important for Dalglish to keep his central midfielders - in particular captain Steven Gerrard - fit and fresh for the big game at Wembley. There is a fair chance the Liverpool skipper will be rested.

Probable lineups : Reina, Enrique, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson, Downing, Spearing, Henderson, Kuyt, Carroll, Suarez. (4-4-2).
Fulham

Martin Jol may re-think his team selection after the poor performance his side put in on the blue side of Liverpool at the weekend. They lost 4-0 and looked distinctly below par, so changes may well be made.

Danny Murphy could return to the starting XI, which could see Moussa Dembele return to a wider position. Stephen Kelly is a doubt with the wrist injury that kept him out of the trip to Everton, so Aaron Hughes is likely to retain his place at right-back.

Probable lineups : Schwarzer, Hughes, Hangeland, Senderos, Riise, Duff, Murphy, Diarra, Dempsey, Dembele, Pogrebnyak. (4-4-1-1).

Prediction
Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool face their second cup final of the season at the weekend, and will certainly have more than half an eye on the trip to Wembley. That could mean changes to their line up, but at the same time, they face the prospect of finishing below arch-rivals Everton in the league for the first time since 2004/05. That thought, in front of their home support, should be enough to spur the team on.

Three points for Fulham would put them level on points with tonight's opponents, Liverpool, but the abject display at Goodison Park at the weekend certainly seemed to suggest that Fulham do not feel they have much to play for and are ready for the season to end. They stand an outside chance of achieving 7th place but could finish as low as 14th if they play like they did at the weekend. Martin Jol will be keen to ensure his players are more motivated for this game.

Liverpool will be keen to win but will have their thoughts occupied by the weekend's FA Cup final, while Fulham look like they already believe their season is over. These factors, on a Tuesday night game between two teams with little to play for, at the stadium which has seen the fewest Premier League goals this season, could well make for a dull game.
Liverpool  2 - 1  Fulham
