Malaga
Málaga's terrific run of late has made them not only favourites to qualify for the Champions League next season, but they may even do so automatically as they have taken advantage of Valencia's horrible form to draw level with Los Che in third place.
The only negative in recent weeks has been a plethora of injuries as Willy Caballero has joined Jérémy Toulalan after requiring surgery on his hand for an injury sustained in the 2-1 win at Espanyol last weekend.
Joaquín is also set to be out for a month with a thigh injury so Santi Cazorla is expected to take up a more advanced position on the right hand side with Nacho Camacho or Enzo Maresca playing in front of the back four.
probable lineups : Kameni, Monreal, Mathijsen, Weligthon, Sancez, Maresca, Demichelis, Eliseu, Isco, Carzola, Rondon. (4-2-3-1).

Betis
Betis' elusive search for a win continued as Racing Santander snatched a point at the Benito Villamarín on Sunday. Roque Santa Cruz did score, however, for the first time since January
and that may be enough for the Paraguayan to retain his place ahead of
Jorge Molina.
Paulao, Beñat and Iriney are all doubtful after missing training this
week but are expected to have recovered sufficiently to be available for
selection.
probable lineups : Fabricio, Nelson, Dorado, Paulao, Nacho, Pereira, Benat, Canas, Montero, Cruz, Castro. (4-4-2).

Prediction
Málaga have won five of their last six and seem certain to tighten their
grip on a Champions League place against a Betis side devoid of
confidence.
Manuel Pellegrini's side have been even stronger at La Rosaleda of late,
winning their last five on home soil, whilst the visitors have failed
to win in their last six.
Therefore, even without a few key players, the hosts should have enough firepower for another three points.
Malaga 2 - 0 Betis
