despite remaining doubtful. Ledley King could be given some rest and was replaced late on by Ryan
Nelsen on Wednesday, who could start this weekend, with Gallas also fit
and available. Jermain Defoe will hope to get the nod over Louis Saha up front, and if
Redknapp opts for two up top van der Vaart may move out to the right
wing.

The idea that Di Matteo may have been overly cautious with the likes of
Terry and Ivanovic in the game against City may have been in the
knowledge that a win over Spurs could prove to be more critical, with

same manner.
