Jannik Vestergaard and Marvin Compper could start at centre-back again, although Isaac Vorsah is an option for the starting line-up as well. Sebastian Rudy and Daniel Williams could start in central midfield again, allowing Sejad Salihovic to play in a more attack-minded role. With Srdjan Lakic not 100% fit yet, Sven Schipplock could start up front.

Prediction 

After a win against Leverkusen last weekend and a good performance in the cup semi-final against Bayern during the week, Gladbach should be confident ahead of this game. The return of Patrick Herrmann will give them more balance again, although they will miss Havard Nordtveit in central midfield. 

Hoffenheim have lost their last two games in a row and manager Babbel has to improve the team's balance and mentality again. 

Expect Gladbach to try to make the running at home. They want to make up for their cup loss against Bayern in front of their fans.
