Sunderland
Martin O'Neill may ring the changes after the poor performance by his side at Ewood Park last time out. Stephane Sessegnon returns from suspension and should go straight back
into the starting lineup, with Fraizer Campbell likely to drop out.
Kieran Richardson's calf injury is more serious than first expected and he may well miss out again.
probable lineups : Mignolet, Bridge, Turner, O'Shea, Bardsley, McClean, Vaughan, Gardner, Larsson, Sessegnon, bendtner. (4-4-1-1).

Prediction
Sunderland put in what many people have described as their worst
performance of the season last time out, as they lost 2-0 to Blackburn
at Ewood Park. Their other recent below par performance was away at West
Brom, and they bounced back from that with a 3 game unbeaten streak,
which they will hope to do again, starting with a win over QPR.
The Londoners were staring at defeat and were in danger continuing their
run of only 1 win under Mark Hughes when they were 2-0 down to
Liverpool with 15 minutes left. They showed great character to come back
and claim their 2nd win with Hughes as manager, though, and will have
been boosted massively by such a result. The 3 points puts them just
outside the relegation zone, but they will know there is plenty of work
to be done if they are to survive. They face a tough run-in, but in
beating Liverpool they showed they can pick up points against the teams
higher up the table and stand a chance of surviving.
However, Sunderland is a long way away, and the journey may often play a
part, as they have only lost 1 of their last 9 home matches. QPR will
be glad to have won in midweek but 2 wins in a week is probably too big
an ask.
